Having
been born and bred on the north side of Brisbane, Lindsay knows this
area like the back of his hand. Growing up in Stafford Heights and Gordon
Park, Lindsay did his schooling at both Stafford Heights State School
and then Everton Park High, graduating in 1979.
Completing
a diploma in Engineering from the Queensland Institute of Technology,
Lindsay commenced work within the Queensland Electricity Commission
where he remained for 6 years. Lindsay then went on to service Fire
Alarm systems in an around Brisbane. Having undertaken this position
for 4 years, Lindsay found the need for more knowledge and commenced
full time study in 1993 at the Queensland University of Technology.
Graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying has
seen Lindsay develop his passion for property.
Working
as a surveyor for several years around Brisbane and on large construction
sites, Personal circumstances saw Lindsay further his knowledge again,
this time in Real Estate.
Lindsay
has been a fully licensed Real Estate Agent for nearly 7 years and has
been self employed for over 6 years. Operating a franchise with the
largest brand in real estate and becoming a member of the elite multimillion
dollar chapter of the Captains Club has been a highlight of his career.
More
recently Lindsay has taken on possibly the biggest challenge of his
career to date, leaving the franchise and developing his own real estate
brand, MOVE. With several hundred property sales behind him it was time
for the next challenge.
Lindsay
has lived in Banyo for approximately 9 years and owns a number of properties
in the local area. He has undertaken development projects and understands
the process involving council intimately. Being an owner builder on
2 separate occasions has given Lindsay an understanding of building
and construction.
More
recently Lindsay purchased a farm totaling 150 acres outside Nanango
where his father resides and together they have been successful in raising
cattle from 1 week old.
Other
interests of Lindsay, when time permits include sailing, home renovating
and car maintenance.
